Pastor John Ekpo

Pastor John Ekpo is the Senior Pastor of RCCG Bethel Parish in Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia. He is deeply committed to sharing the love of Jesus, nurturing disciples, and equipping God’s people for service and the edification of the body of Christ.

His journey of faith began at a young age, leading him to serve in various ministries. He served as the President of the Young Christian Society (YCS) at Immaculate Comprehensive High School in Lagos, Nigeria, and later as the General Secretary and Librarian of the Nigeria Fellowship of Evangelical Students (NIFES) at the Federal University of Technology in Minna, Niger State. He also served as the Zonal Secretary of NIFES in Abuja.

Pastor John's pastoral ministry in RCCG began in December 2009 when he co-planted Amazing Grace Palace in Deventer, Netherlands, where he served as the lead pastor before relocating to Australia in April 2011. In January 2013, a house fellowship began in his living room in Malak, Northern Territory, which grew over two years, leading to the establishment of RCCG Bethel Parish on August 23, 2015.

In addition to his role as Senior Pastor, Pastor John serves as the Special Assistant to the Continental Overseer (SATCO) on Missions and Directorate of Christian Education in the Oceania Continent, and the Assistant Pastor in Charge of Province 6, which covers the State of Queensland and Northern Territory and oversees mission fields in East Timor, Guam, and Saipan.

Pastor John Ekpo is also a Licensed Surveyor, a Member of the Surveyors Board of the Northern Territory, and Director of Territory Geospatial Consultants, a surveying and development planning consultancy firm in Darwin. He holds a Bachelor of Technology in Surveying and Geoinformatics from the Federal University of Technology in Minna, and a Master of Science in Geoinformation Management and Land Administration from ITC, Netherlands.

Additionally, Pastor John has a Postgraduate Diploma in Theology from the Redeemed Christian Bible College and has been a lecturer at the college in the Oceania Continent since 2019. In April 2024, he joined the Royal Darwin Hospital as a Chaplain.

Pastor John is married to A/Pastor Olukemi, a Registered Psychologist, and they are blessed with three children, David, Dorothy, and Daniel.

Olumide Olusoji

Born in Nigeria, Olumide Olusoji is a multifaceted individual whose life embodies a commitment to service, faith, and family. Trained as a medical laboratory scientist, he has dedicated his career to the pursuit of healthcare excellence, blending scientific precision with compassionate care to improve the lives of others.

Beyond his professional endeavours, Olusoji is also deeply engaged in spiritual leadership as a pastor, guiding and inspiring his community with wisdom and faith. His passion for preaching extends beyond the pulpit, as he finds solace and inspiration in listening to sermons, constantly seeking spiritual growth and understanding.


Above all, Pastor Soji treasures his role as a husband and father. His unwavering love and devotion to his wife and children are evident in every aspect of his life, as he strives to create a home filled with love, laughter, and support. He is happily married to Roseline and are blessed with two lovely daughters, Nife and Tife.
